Brave Queen Esther by Zonderkidz, pictures by David Miles

Brave Queen Esther is a Zonderkidz, I Can Read! book. The pictures are by David Miles. This book is a level 2 reading book which is for children who are learning to read but still need some help. Brave Queen Esther tells the story of Queen Esther from the Bible that saved the Jews. This story follows the biblical story very well but also makes it easy to understand for children. This book allows children to see how Queen Esther had bravery to go to the king and tell him about Haman and that she was a Jew.
I read this to my two year old and it lost his attention within the first couple pages. My nine year old really enjoyed the book and she said it was good. I felt that the illustrations were good. I would recommend this book to anyone with kids that have been reading for a little while. It does have some larger words and hard names. My nine year old had no problem reading this book. I like that my children can read about stories from the Bible on their level and see illustrations to bring it to life.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
